The Pharmacology course is designed to study how natural and synthetic chemical agents such as drugs affect biological systems. Knowledge of the properties of therapeutic agents is vital in providing quality health care. It is an ever-changing, growing body of information that continually demands greater amounts of time and education from health care workers.

Virtual Business is designed for learners to start a virtual business by creating a web presence, conducting online and off-line marketing, examining contracts appropriate for an online business, and demonstrating project-management skills. Learners will also demonstrate bookkeeping skills for a virtual business, maintain business records, and understand legal issues associated with a virtual business.

In web design, students learn HTML and CSS, and apply that knowledge to projects that show case their knowledge and skills.  The course requires learners to develop weekly videos that showcase their work (you need a YouTube account); take weekly assessments over what was learned.  There are fifteen major projects that learners will complete, as well as a final web design project that requires learners to use their knowlege of HTML and CSS.
